If you want to be an Ogre then ban all internet usage at home, trust me they will find a way to get to any internet search engine and type up what they desire.Keeping children in the dark now within the digital age is not only useless but inhuman.I know most posts are about how to install and use a VPN – not much on how to stop them being used in the first place :( My daughter has a bit of a problem with her eldest son (who is very bright for a 14 yr old) .He keeps downloading VPNs so he can use FB at school...
Not sure it's possible to block him using a vpn on his phone the tech. Whatever you do manually on the phone, he can undo. Short answer is that if he has full access to his computer it's not possible to block him.
You will need to ensure he doesn't ever get access to the device running the proxy. Install some software on his computer to block him. I've had success in the past with Kidswatch buy that was quite a while ago.
This may be all true for a domestic grade home router but you can quite cheaply build routers that can take a lot of control over internet access & provide extensive reports so you can keep modifying filters. I remember selling class mates porn cds for each when i was 14. In fact filtering etc, will only add motivation to said efforts. I remember selling class mates porn cds for each when i was 14. Notify the vpn service provider to delete the account associated or block the ip.
Keeping children in the dark in any age just produces immature, entitled, lazy, no-nothing, inexperienced, millennials raised by helicopter parents who's job will never be done.
